Heirloom Apple Varieties

St. Edmunds Pippin

A darling and delicate fawn skinned early season russet that is so easy on the eyes it charms you before you even try it. From Bury, St Edmunds in Suffolk, England around 1875 this classy apple seems to glow from within- slightly oblate, boasting a vanilla-pear infused rich and creamy bite. Airly and light this rising star is one of the great early season eating apples, but its appearance is fleeting, so best to enjoy this swift treasure fresh. Look for this on our farm in early September.
