Heirloom Apple Varieties
Pinova
A very new German apple that is a relative of the Cox’s Orange Pippin. A blend of sweet and tart flavors makes this variety a favorite. Small conic shape, orange skin. Look for Pinova in our farm market starting mid to late-September. We also have white Pinova, which is aromatic and sweet; the skin is white to cream with green lenticels.
Pinova is not an heirloom variety.
