“It’s Alive! ….It’s Alive!” There is nothing wrong with this apple! This is exactly how it is supposed to look - knobbly, bumpity, and wonky russety. Otherworldly, aurora oranges, laced with veins of russet deceive the beholder, as the flavor is remarkably smooth as sherry and nutty-crisp but not crunchy. “Like banana bread” claimed my youngest son, and I completely agree.
