Scions

We are offering several varieties of heirloom apple scions this year. Scions are the dormant 8-10 inch sticks used for grafting. Our scions are collected during the winter from last year’s new growth.

We’re taking scion orders now and will continue taking them through the end of March. The scions will be $5 each. There is a minimum fee of  4 scions or $20 per order.

Your scions will arrive labeled in a zip-lock bag; store them in a refrigerator or cool, dark place. If kept cool and moist these scions will be good into May.

The available varieties are:  Black Oxford, Esopus Spitzenburg, Belle de Boskoop, Baldwin, Roxbury Russet, Reine de Reinette, and Northern Spy, Cox’s Orange Pippin.

Here's how to order the scions:  Choose the number of scions that you want to order and fill out the required information - name, address, and credit card information. Next, email us at orders@scottfarmvermont.com with the number of each variety that you want sent to you and include the order number from this page so that we can match it your address.  If you have questions, give us a call at 802-254-6868.

Please note: We will start shipping scions on the first week of March. Orders for less than 4 scions will not be processed.
