Winter Banana

A late maturing apple originating in Indiana in 1876, it has a beautiful pale yellow color with a red blush and a banana aroma. Its sweet and tart combination make it a good eating, cooking, drying and juicing apple. Bruises easily, precluding it from wide market availability. We harvest in early October.
