Originally from the Netherlands, Karmijn has a robust flavor with a hint of citrus. If you like a tart, crisp apple for cooking or eating, this is an excellent choice. Its big flavor wrapped in a small size makes it a lovely snack. A cross between Cox’s Orange pollinated by Jonathan. It’s a vigorous and spreading tree and not the heaviest fruit bearer. Harvests mid to late September.
