A large yellow skinned apple which sometimes has a red blush. It is crisp and slightly sweet with a rich flavor. This apple has only been around for 20 years, but has become a popular early season apple. Originated in Nelson County, Virginia as a chance seedling in the orchard of Clyde and Ginger Harvey. Suspected parentage is the Newtown Pippin and Golden Delicious. Available late August through our harvest season.
