Fearns Pippin apple trees were grown widely in Victorian gardens for the brilliant scarlet fruit which was favored for dining table display and decoration. The Fearns Pippin apple is crisp, juicy, acid and sweet with an almost lemon quality. Flavor mellows in keeping to a slight raspberry. An excellent apple for all around use.
