Dutton Farm House

The Dutton Farmhouse was built nearly 170 years ago on a prominent site overlooking the Connecticut River Valley and the mountains of New Hampshire. Even today not a house can be seen over this expanse that extends clear to Mount Monadnock, 35 miles to the east. Asa Dutton built his home in the popular Greek Revival style: while the exterior is simple, dignified, and pure white, the interior is a lively mix of pattern, texture, and color.
